Declaration to End Colonial Rule in U.S. Territories

As we approach both the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the 125th anniversary of the Insular Cases, we have drafted a “Declaration to End Colonial Rule in U.S. Territories” to unite organizations and advocates across the territories around shared principles of democracy, self-determination, and decolonization. While we recognize that our communities hold diverse views regarding political status, this declaration is intended to reflect our shared belief that the current undemocratic territorial framework must end. We are inviting organizations and individuals to sign on HERE to support.
