Solidarity Director - Full or Part Time

Location: Flexible. Applicants from U.S. Territories are encouraged to apply. Some travel may be required.

Summary:

The Solidarity Director will help RtD Co-Directors build Right to Democracy’s cross-territorial solidarity strategies and engagement portfolio. The Director will organize and coordinate cross-territorial impact activities and participation in local, regional, federal, and international events. The Director will act as a coordinator and convener for the Cross-Territorial Coalition (CTC), ensuring this RtD initiative grows and fosters lasting relationships and collective action across the territories and beyond. They will also organize interaction with other RtD programs, such as the Environment and Democracy Fellowship.  

Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000 + Benefits

Resumen:

¡Estamos contratando a un/a Director/a de Solidaridad!
Sobre el puesto: El/La Director/a de Solidaridad apoyará a los Co-Directores de RtD en el desarrollo de estrategias de solidaridad entre territorios y el portafolio de participación de Right to Democracy. El/La Director/a organizará y coordinará actividades de impacto entre territorios y la participación en eventos locales, regionales, federales e internacionales. También actuará como coordinador/a de la Coalición Inter-Territorial (CTC, por sus siglas en inglés), asegurando que esta iniciativa de RtD crezca y promueva relaciones duraderas y acción colectiva entre los territorios y más allá. Además, organizará la interacción con otros programas de RtD, como la Beca de Medio Ambiente y Democracia.

Salario: $50,000-$60,000 + Beneficios

Internship & Fellowship Opportunities (2026)

Right to Democracy invites law students, undergraduate, and graduate students to apply for our 2026 unpaid fellowship opportunities. We seek creative, enthusiastic applicants with excellent research and communication skills who are committed to democracy, equity, and self-determination.

These positions can be structured for-credit with institutional approval or remain unpaid. Applications for the Spring, Summer, and Fall terms are considered on a rolling basis.

Available Roles Include:

  • Litigation Fellow: Legal research and writing for active litigation.
  • Law and Policy Fellow: Supporting advocacy before Congress and the Administration.
  • Human Rights Fellow: Developing strategies for international advocacy.
  • Media & Communications Fellow: Creating social media content and narrative change strategies.
  • Stakeholder Relationships Fellow: Supporting donor engagement and nonprofit development.
